Meet Emily.

She is a very special eight-year-old friend of ours.  A few years ago, Emily had brain surgery.  She is having to learn everything all over again.  Emily has been taking IVIG treatments every four weeks for the last two years.  These treatments usually last 6 to 8 hours.  This is a long process for Emily and her family.

 Emily’s hospital, Houston’s Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital, is being considered by Colgate-Palmolive and Starlight Starbright Foundation for the donation of a Fun Center.  This Fun Center will include a flat screen monitor, DVD player, and Wii.  It is portable and can be rolled into a child’s room so they can have fun while receiving their treatments.

The donation will be made based on the number of votes a hospital receives.  You can cast your vote once a day during the month of February for Houston’s Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital.  Please take a minute each day and VOTE FOR EMILY!
